His interdisciplinary experience of materials science, properties of materials, design, prototyping and testing of components is based on an engineering study and the dissertation on solid state-bonding of ceramics and metals, as also on a professional experience of more than 25 years of industrial research. This includes knowledge on application technologies based on new materials, as also on the related production technologies. The testing knowledge tends to conventional applications, but also to an application at high temperatures up to about 1400°C (2500 F).
